Stuck in your role for years? Here’s one formula to turn around your career

It’s called the Aggregation of Marginal Gains.

What’s the secret behind the success of the likes of Messi, Djokovic, Virat Kohli etc. that we can implement in our lives for professional success?
Aggregation of Marginal Gains. Period.

Aggregation of Marginal Gains is the core approach applied by these super-performers. We believe a similar approach can help improve executive performance to an unbeatable level.

What’s Aggregation of Marginal gains? In simple terms, to be a world beater the secret is not in trying to develop one skill and be great at it, but marginally improving every aspect of that profession and the aggregation of these marginal gains will make you a world beater.

Let’s understand this through an example.

Sir Dave Brailsford turned around a hundred years of British cycling’s failure. How did he accomplish such a feat? Here’s the story. The British cycling team won their last medal in 1906. In 2003 they appointed Dave Brailsford as their Performance Coach – A firm believer in the principle of marginal gains.

He assessed and improved  every aspect of cyclists’ routine and training. British cyclists’ seats were streamlined, they wore heated pants, their cycle carrying vehicles were painted white to spot any minor crack or aberration to ensure that the cycles are always in mint condition.

So much so that British cyclists while travelling overseas carry their own pillows and mattresses to ensure a good night’s sleep and have an edge over their competitors. This led to an incredible Olympic success in 2008 and 2012. He replicated the same success in the world’s most challenging cycle race – The Tour De France with Britain’s TeamSky cycling team winning it twice.

The principle of aggregation of marginal gains can be applied to improve executives' performance.

We provide training, tools and techniques to enhance skills starting from morning routines to ability to build relationships, effective communication, build gravitas in meetings, impactful proposal writing or presentations.

We are Performance Coaches for Executives. We coach executives to help them improve some core aspects and skills.
